The lantern for University College’s new dining room was craned into position this week, marking a significant point in the extension and refurbishment project our architects are working on in Parkville.

Construction of the new 400-seat dining hall, together with its kitchen, is first phase of the project, which is due for completion early in the new year. The hall is arcaded, with the skylight over the central aisle. The building is designed to Passive House standard.
