We have a long association with Ballarat Railway Station and its precinct, and it’s great to see the Goods Shed part of the project come alive. The images below were commissioned by our client Pellicano on completion of the building’s fitout as an event space following conservation works.
The sculpture visible on the left side of the first photo is Slow Order by Robbie Rowlands, a public art commission undertaken as part of the interpretation programme for the site that we developed — other services over the years have included heritage studies, conservation management planning and heritage permit services.
Ballarat Railway Station (1862 onwards) is one of the most intact nineteenth century railway precincts in Victoria.
