Fremantle, Western Australia
Victoria Quay is associated with the foundation of
Western Australia and continues to be the state's premier port for industry, agriculture and passenger traffic. In 2007, we undertook a conservation management plan review for the West End of Victoria Quay, including the preparation of an updated conservation policy.
Our work focused on a review of the levels of significance
of individual elements in the complex, resulting in the revision and expansion of conservation policies for the site. The emphasis on conservation policy and management recommendations is designed to assist with the ongoing management of the area under review as part of an operational harbour port.
