Anne-Marie Treweeke is a key member of our architecture and conservation teams. She is a Lovell Chen principal, leading our project architects under the design direction of practice director Kai Chen. She takes a strategic role in the set-up, management and contract administration of new-build, adaptative reuse, conservation and refurbishment projects, and has more than 20 years’ experience as an architect and master planner, delivering award-winning projects in heritage contexts.
Anne-Marie is focused on programme management, client and consultant liaison, co-ordination of project documentation, contract administration and the smooth delivery of projects from inception to handover. Her experience includes working to Passive House construction standards. She joined Lovell Chen in 1993.

Anne-Marie has considerable experience in the development of functional briefs, feasibility studies, project coordination, and stakeholder and community consultation, as well as interpretation and maintenance plans. She is an experienced contract administrator for the full range of ABIC and Australian Standard contracts. The development of adaptive reuse strategies and master planning designs, and the implementation of master plans, are a significant part of her work. She has worked on major institutional and government projects in these fields.
Her expertise also includes the preparation of documentation for state and local authority heritage submissions, and for town planning applications — including the preparation of heritage impact statements and heritage infrastructure management plans.
