Extraordinary protection
Two projects on complex sites in the City of Melbourne that require protection works for their heritage components have provided terrific opportunities for spectacular images recently. A pair of heritage buildings at 70-74 Collins Street (Rolex House and the former Le Louvre shop), and the 1859 Manse belonging to Wesley Church at 124-144 Lonsdale Street — both part of large-scale mixed works schemes — are the subjects of this month’s pictorial.
