We are seeking an exceptional graduate landscape architect with a keen interest in design, sustainability, innovation and heritage to join our heritage team, delivering landscape services from our busy East Melbourne office.
The role of graduate landscape architect is focused on collaborating and assisting in the delivery of functional designs for landscaped and public spaces, from illustrated concept and master plan drawings to documentation for approval processes, tendering and construction. The range of projects is broad and includes landscapes of all scales, located in metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team delivering a growing range of integrated services that includes the assessment and management of heritage landscapes and features, and landscape architecture. We provide opportunities for ongoing professional development.
You will hold a tertiary qualification in landscape architecture, landscape design or an equivalent related discipline, and will have 1-3 years’ professional experience. You will be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
Key knowledge and skills required include:
— excellent written and verbal communications skills
— experience in the production of landscape and technical documentation
— proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe CS
— proficiency in GIS and/or 3D visualisation software an advantage
— experience in arboriculture or horticulture an advantage
— experience or understanding of the heritage planning and management fields an advantage
