client  The Office of the Official Secretary to the Governor-General
Over the past seven years, we have worked on
a number of projects at Government House, official residence of Australia's Governor-General. Work began with a conservation management plan for the house and garden in conjunction with landscape architects Patrick & Wallace. This was followed by a strategic plan developed in association with Sweetnam Godfrey & Ord, and phased construction of new facilties.
Our work has included the design of a new service wing
that houses a kitchen, staff facilties and a cellar. We have also undertaken the refurbishment of the state reception rooms based on historic evidence, the refurbishment of suites for visiting heads of state and the design of a major new gardening and maintenance complex. Incremental budgeting was made possible by the design of the implementation program.
